You cannot bribe an outdated organization into acting like a modern one. You have to structurally force the issue. Building the correct operating model is exhausting, deeply political, and highly disruptive. But when the dust settles, and your architecture is finally aligned with the speed of your algorithms, your firm will operate on a completely different plane of efficiency.
